I took part in the RedRull BrandRun competition, in which participated more than 160 designers from the Czech Republic. I was one of the 8 finalists and took 4th place.
The competition was held in the discipline of graphic design.

Hello!
I have been working in the field of design since 2009, I began my journey from print design.
When I went to college as a programmer, I realized that programming is a bit different from what I want to do and continued to develop myself as a designer. Nevertheless, I graduated as programmer and know how to code.
Over the past decade, the digital design industry has changed dramatically and in order to work in a niche without a framework for development at the beginning of my career, I preferred to take one-time orders and serve them rather than work for hire. This allowed me to be at the forefront of industry from skeuomorphism, metro, flat, material design and other styles to today’s trends of neo-skeuomorphism and 3D integrations.

8 years of my career were inextricably linked with freelance and one-time orders. On my list there are a huge number of different companies from simple branding to the development of social networks.
Even when I worked in companies – I carried out orders in my free time.
I was invited by different companies as a consultant for UX and Art Direction departments for optimization of their operation.

In the 3rd year of college, I got a job in Zharyq as a UX/UI designer. There I got my first experience as a team member and figured out how the development process in the company is built.
Zharyq is a Kazakhstan television company that broadcasts national digital channels.
I worked there as a middle UX/UI designer and was designing interfaces for websites and applications for broadcast shows.

Due to the increasing quantity of orders, I decided to open a website development studio. Gathered a team and started doing business. I was an Art Director in my studio.
Unfortunately, a year later the studio had to be closed. With huge competition on the market, the quantity of orders was not enough to ensure the studio’s expenses.

After a failure with the studio, I returned to freelance and was taking for digital design and UX analysis of web pages and mobile applications.
By the end of 2017, my partners and I decided to open a hostel in Prague.
In this business, we managed to go to zero expenses from the first month. After half a year I was able to afford to go home on a short vacation.
However, problems arose and I had to be hospitalized for 4 month.
The hostel business was sold.

1.2018 – NOW
At the beginning of 2018, I decided to take a break from the practice of digital design and try myself as a teacher.
I started teaching from my home offline and individually.
While teaching I try to find a personal approach to each student, which in return results in higher level of skills and knowledge of each of them.
The course was designed for people completely unfamiliar with the profession of designer. However, more than half of my graduates now work in companies or are excellent freelancers.
I am proud of this school and I constantly improve my educational skills.

The school has grown and I already have a team of teachers, in 2019 I’ve decided that I want to work calmly in a company doing what I know and love.
I’ve got a job at Tabella s.r.o. as a UI designer. This company attracted me by the fact that, according to them, they were engaged in games and their promotion, they did not tell me more before signing the contract. Unfortunately, I’m not able to write what this company actually does (NDA), but it was one of the factors that made me left it soon.

12.2019 – 4.2020
I was invited to Skivy as UX Consultant and it was my responsibility to direct a successful development path of UX and Product design on the project.
Skivy is a coupon company that has its own features and differs from competitors on the market.
After I completed my work on the project and made sure that my services are no longer needed, I left.

UX/UI Designer
GetFix Holding
12.2019 – 5.2020
I was invited to GetFix team as UX/UI Designer and my responsibilities included strategic management of the development team, UX & UI design and work with marketing department.
On that project, I worked closely with Chief Marketing Officer for the choices of functionalities, external design and information architecture. Together, we brought the project to the state that you could observe now (detailed information in the portfolio).
GetFix is a major aggregator of car services in the Czech Republic. With its help you could find and compare prices on specific car services by various companies and book a repair date.
I provided UX based trainings for my team in order to improve quality of developed product.
Unfortunately, the project was partially frozen due to COVID-19 crisis.

4.2020 – 10.2020
I was also invited to the NEbanka project as UX & Product Designer.
NEbanka is a crowdfunding platform specialized in medium and large business investments. Here one could find an investor for a project with favorable conditions for cooperation or become an investor in such a project.
My task on that project was to build a user-friendly system and provide a positive user experience for people aged 50+ years (a detailed research of the target audience of this project can be found on the portfolio).

UX/UI Designer
10.2020 – Now
In October 2020, I started working for the Jober team. Unfortunately, I can’t tell the details of the project, but what I can – this is a startup focused on the US market working in the gig economy.
My responsibilities were in-depth analytics of the target group and competitors, as well as usability interviews and A / B tests based on my focus groups. I also did wireframing and UI.
